Track of The Month – November 2024
Istanbul Park, Turkey
This November, we take a trip to Turkey, where Istanbul Park circuit takes the spotlight as our Hotlapping Track of the Month!
Istanbul Park is a motorsport track in Tuzla, Turkey, opened in 2005 and designed by Hermann Tilke. The 3.32 mile circuit is known for its fast straights, complex corners, and challenging elevation changes. Its most famous section, Turn 8, is a demanding quadruple-apex left-hander that tests drivers and cars alike.
Istanbul Park hosted Formula 1 from 2005 to 2011, before F1 dropped the venue. However, it made a surprise return in 2020 as part of the revised COVID-19 calendar, where Lewis Hamilton secured a dramatic victory in wet conditions to win his seventh world title. Over the years, the circuit has also hosted MotoGP, DTM, and other racing series. Currently, it’s used for local motorsport events and track days. The track’s demanding layout and iconic corners make it a driver and fan favorite.
While its presence on the global motorsport calendar has been sporadic, Istanbul Park remains a top-tier venue praised for its exciting and technical design and is sure to provide an exciting competition on this months hotlap leaderboard!

You are welcome to drive any of the month’s vehicles at any time in an Open Practice Session. All lap times and telemetry are recorded for your immediate viewing and future reference.
New drivers to The Race Centre will be automatically classified as Class D drivers. Finishing top 3 in a class at the end of the month will gain you a promotion to the next class up.

Competition Terms and Conditions
To qualify for prizes and promotions, participants must register using their real, legal names. Entries under fake names will be ineligible.
All potential prize-winning laps must be verified by a TRC staff member. For a lap to be legal, your vehicle must have two or more wheels inside or touching the white lines at all times.
Vehicles must be running all standard TRC settings for the month.
Multiple Class wins within a month will result in prizes for the highest win only. Lower “wins” will be passed to the next highest competitors.
TRC Staff are not eligible to win prizes. Any winning positions held by staff will defer to the next highest driver.
Free entry to First Monday is for the next event and is non-transferable.
In order to win Free First Monday entry in Class A, you must be within the top 10% of fastest lap time for the month.
