Track of The Month – September 2024
Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium
It’s September, which means it’s time to return to the almighty Spa-Francorchamps circuit for our Hotlapping Track of the Month!
Standing at a lengthy 4.352 miles (7.004 km), Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, often called Spa, was first used for Grand Prix racing back in 1924 and is renowned as one of the best circuits in the world.
Designed in 1920, the initial 15 km circuit ran over public roads in Belgium’s Ardennes region, connecting Francorchamps, Malmedy, and Stavelot. In this original form, Spa was feared for its fast straights, sweeping corners and unpredictable weather which combined to create a lethal combination. The extensive redesign in the late 1970s established Spa as a safer, standalone racing circuit.
Besides Formula 1, it hosts a packed calender of events including the 24-Hour GT3 race, FIA World Endurance Championship, International GT Open, World Rallycross, Historic Spa Classic, and even a 25-hour race for Citroën 2CVs.
With a vast combination of low, medium and high speed corners, Spa-Francorchamps is always an enjoyable experience to drive and is sure to provide tight competition for the hotlap leaderboard this month!

You are welcome to drive any of the month’s vehicles at any time in an Open Practice Session. All lap times and telemetry are recorded for your immediate viewing and future reference.
New drivers to The Race Centre will be automatically classified as Class D drivers. Finishing top 3 in a class at the end of the month will gain you a promotion to the next class up.

Competition Terms and Conditions
To qualify for prizes and promotions, participants must register using their real, legal names. Entries under fake names will be ineligible.
All potential prize-winning laps must be verified by a TRC staff member. For a lap to be legal, your vehicle must have two or more wheels inside or touching the white lines at all times.
Vehicles must be running all standard TRC settings for the month.
Multiple Class wins within a month will result in prizes for the highest win only. Lower “wins” will be passed to the next highest competitors.
TRC Staff are not eligible to win prizes. Any winning positions held by staff will defer to the next highest driver.
Free entry to First Monday is for the next event and is non-transferable.
In order to win Free First Monday entry in Class A, you must be within the top 10% of fastest lap time for the month.
