Track of The Month – August 2024
Monza, Italy
This August, we are heading to the site of the Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix as Monza is The Race Centre’s Hotlapping Track of the Month!
The Monza Circuit, officially known as the Autodromo Nazionale Monza, is one of the oldest and most famous racetracks globally. Located near Monza, Italy, it was built in 1922, making it the third purpose-built racetrack in the world.
Renowned for its high-speed layout, it features long straights and fast corners, with iconic sections such as the Curva Grande (Turn 3), Lesmo curves (Turns 6 & 7), and the Parabolica (Turn 11).
Monza has been a staple of the Formula One calendar since 1950, running the Italian Grand Prix annually except in 1980. Today, it remains a key venue for other motorsport series aswell, hosting the World Endurance Championship, GT racing, and motorcycle events.
This iconic circuit holds a special place in the world of motorsport, and promises to deliver an exciting challenge to hotlap this month!

You are welcome to drive any of the month’s vehicles at any time in an Open Practice Session. All lap times and telemetry are recorded for your immediate viewing and future reference.
New drivers to The Race Centre will be automatically classified as Class D drivers. Finishing top 3 in a class at the end of the month will gain you a promotion to the next class up.

Competition Terms and Conditions
For a lap to be legal, your vehicle must have two or more wheels inside or touching the white lines at all times.
All potential prize-winning laps must be verified by a TRC staff member.
Vehicles must be running all standard TRC settings for the month.
Multiple Class wins within a month will result in prizes for the highest win only. Lower “wins” will be passed to the next highest competitors.
TRC Staff are not eligible to win prizes. Any winning positions held by staff will defer to the next highest driver.
Free entry to First Monday is for the next event and is non-transferable.
In order to win Free First Monday entry in Class A, you must be within the top 10% of fastest lap time for the month.
Open Race Meeting voucher will be valid for 6 months from the date of postage.
