Circuit Zandvoort, Netherlands
This December, Circuit Zandvoort is The Race Centre’s Track of the Month. Nestled along the picturesque Dutch coastline, Zandvoort is a legendary racing venue with a storied history.
It has served as the focal point of the Dutch racing scene and has been its primary circuit for four-wheeled racing since the late 1940s, playing a crucial role in elevating the seaside resort town to global prominence.
Hosting the Dutch Formula 1 Grand Prix from 1952 to 1985, the circuit experienced a decline afterward, undergoing a significant shortening. In 1999, a partial restoration of the circuit’s length occurred, enabling it to once again attract higher-profile series such as DTM and the GT Series.
The prospect of hosting Formula 1 again appeared unlikely until the remarkable rise of Max Verstappen propelled a Dutch round into the focus of race promoters. Subsequently, an extensive upgrade was undertaken to meet FIA Grade 1 standards, with the insertion of banking at Hugenholzbocht (Turn 3) and Arie Luyendijk Bocht (Turn 14) being the major changes. Despite a delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the circuit drew a full crowd when the Grand Prix made its comeback in 2021, witnessing a victorious performance by Verstappen on his way to the eventual world title.

You are welcome to drive any of the month’s vehicles at any time in an Open Practice Session. All lap times and telemetry are recorded for your immediate viewing and future reference.

Prizes at all experience levels
New drivers to The Race Centre will be automatically classified as Class D drivers. Winning in a class will gain you a promotion to the next class up.

Competition Terms and Conditions
All potential prize-winning laps must be verified by a TRC staff member
For a lap to be legal, your vehicle must have two or more wheels inside or touching the white lines at all times.
Vehicles must be running all standard TRC settings for the month.
Multiple Class wins within a month will result in prizes for the highest win only. Lower “wins” will be passed to the next highest competitors.
TRC Staff are not eligible to win prizes. Any winning positions held by staff will defer to the next highest driver.
Free entry to First Monday is for the next event and is non-transferable.
Cash prizes are available at the following First Monday event or within a max of 30 days of the competition end.
