Oulton Park, Cheshire, England
The Race Centre’s Track of the Month for January is Oulton Park, Cheshire, England. It was originally part of the Oulton Estate, which included a manor house and formal garden on a large farm. By the late 18th century, the farm had been turned into a park, which is now the site of the race track. Some of the original buildings from the estate, including the entrance gates, lodges, and screen designed by Joseph Turner, still stand. During World War II, the grounds of Oulton Park were used as a staging camp for American troops under the command of General Patton.
This track is known for its steep changes in elevation, unexpected rises and falls, and many sharp turns. The full layout is 2.69 miles (4.33 kilometers).
The track has several layouts used for various racing series. The most well-known shortened layout is the “Foster’s Circuit,” which is 1.6 miles (2.6 kilometers).
Starting in 2007, all the marshaling stations along the track were redesigned with protective cages to prevent accidents like those that occurred in the 2006 season, when cars collided with the marshaling posts. A marshaling station with a protective cage was also built at the bottom of the back straight near the chicane before Knickerbrook.

Who can win?
New drivers to The Race Centre will be automatically classified as Class D drivers. Winning in a class will gain you a promotion to the next class.

Competition Terms and Conditions
All potential prize-winning laps must be verified by a TRC staff member.
For a lap to be legal, your vehicle must have two or more wheels inside or touching the white lines at all times.
Vehicles must be running all standard TRC settings for the month.
Free entry to First Monday is for the next event and is non-transferable.
Multiple Class wins within a month will result in prizes for the highest win only. Lower “wins” will be passed to the next highest competitors.
TRC Staff are not eligible to win prizes. Any winning positions held by staff will defer to the next highest driver.
Cash prizes available at the following First Monday event or within a max of 30 days of competition end.
