The Race Centre’s Track of the Month for March is the Albert Park circuit, located in Melbourne, Australia.
Home to the Australian Grand Prix since 1996 and host to the inaugural round of this years Formula One World Championship, Albert Park is a 3.3 mile street-circuit, renowned for it’s mix of fast flowing corners and tight, technical sequences.
Albert Park is also a circuit remembered for some big crashes over the years, so make sure to be extra careful when taking to the streets of Melbourne this month!

40 years of Williams in F1
The start of the 2017 season coincides with Williams’ 40th anniversary in Formula 1. Based out of Oxfordshire in the UK and founded under stewardship of the legendary duo of Frank Williams and Patrick Head, the team has been one of the most iconic and successful in the history of the sport.
During their 40 years in Formula 1, Williams have claimed 7 World Drivers’ Championships, as well as 9 World Constructor’s Championships, second only to Italian powerhouses Ferrari.
While recent achievement hasn’t quite lived up to the legacy of the teams’ dominance in the 1990’s, this years driver line-up of Brazilian veteran Felipe Massa and Canadian youngster Lance Stroll, both combined with the new FW40 chassis means Williams are hoping on bringing silverware back to the factory in Grove this season.

You are welcome to drive any of the month’s vehicles at any time in an Open Practice Session. All lap times and telemetry are recorded for your immediate viewing and future reference.

Who can win ?
New drivers to The Race Centre will be automatically classified as a Class D driver. Winning in a class will gain you promotion to the next class. You have to win Class B twice to progress to Class A.

Competition Terms and Conditions
All potential prize winning laps must be verified by a TRC staff member
For a lap to be legal, your vehicle must have two or more wheels inside or touching the white lines at all times.
Vehicles must be running all standard TRC settings for the month.
Free entry to First Monday is for the next event and is non transferable.
Multiple Class wins within a month will result in prizes for the highest win only. Lower “wins” will be passed to the next highest competitors.
TRC Staff are not eligible to win prizes. Any winning positions held by staff will defer to the next highest driver.
Cash prizes available at the following First Monday event or within a max of 30 days of competition end.
