From Leeds via M62

Exit the M62 at junction 24. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit (Halifax A629). You are about 5.8 miles and 9 minutes away from us. This is Calderdale Way and has a speed restriction of 50mph all the way down. At the bottom of Calderdale Way the dual carriageway narrows down to a single lane and reduces to 30mph speed limit. Continue straight forward following signs for Halifax A629. Passing the Watermill pub on your left and McDonalds on your right continue up Salterhebble hill. At the lights continue forward following the sign for Keighley A629/Town centre. Be aware of 30mph limit and speed cameras along this road. Continue straight forward following the sign for Town centre West/Keighley A629. The road becomes a dual carriageway. As you approach our venue you will pass the Esso petrol station and the Halifax Swimming pool on your right. When you pass through the traffic lights here you will see the Halifax Kitchen Company on the right and the glass corner window of Electric Bowl also across the road to the right.

The road between the Kitchen Company and Electric Bowl is St Johns Lane. Turn right down it and you’ll find a small car-park at the back of Electric Bowl/Halifax Snooker Club/The Race Centre. There’s also a Pay and Display car-park just below it.

Make your way around to the front of the building where you’ll find a double glass-doored entrance to the venue. The Race Centre is accessed through the entrance to Electric Bowl.

From Manchester via M62

By Train (Local Station less than 5 minutes walk)

Exit the station car park and you will be looking straight up Horton Street in front of you. Cross Church St.

Walk up Horton St. Continue forward crossing Union Street and then Clare Road. Carry on until you reach the traffic lights at the top of the hill. From here you can see the Victoria Theatre across the road and to the right. You can see the Liquid night club straight across the road. You can see the huge glass and stone HBOS building across the road and to the left.

Turn left here. You are on Commercial Street. The entrance to The Race Centre/Electric Bowl/Halifax Snooker Club is 150 yards away on your left and is opposite the HBOS building.
