Race Night: Classic Minis – Goodwood
Race Night: Classic Minis – Goodwood
A Race Night that’s all about close, wheel-to-wheel racing, on a fast, historic circuit: Classic Minis – Goodwood.
First opened for racing in 1948, Goodwood is a 2.4-mile circuit located near Chichester, West Sussex. In the circuits early history, it played host to many racing events, including Formula One, endurance racing and the Tourist Trophy, currently the longest lasting continually-awarded trophy in motorsports.
Today, Goodwood is most famous for it’s ‘revival’, an annual racing festival that showcases exceptional wheel-to-wheel racing around the classic circuit. The festival includes Grand Prix cars from the 1950s and 1960s, as well as sports and GT cars from the same era. The circuit remains largely untouched by more modern developments, and helps to relive the glory days of the circuit.
